Job summary

St Mary's College in Birmingham is seeking an Estates Operative to join the maintenance team on a temporary 3-month fixed term contract. The role involves general maintenance, including basic electrical and plumbing tasks, and supporting the planned maintenance programme.

Grounds duties include mowing and strimming grassed areas, plus housekeeping and upkeep of the grounds and woodland areas on site.

Qualifications

• Experience with general building, electrical and plumbing work.
• Ability to carry out routine checks and basic maintenance of vehicles, fire alarm systems and other site facilities.
• Grounds maintenance experience is advantageous.
