Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking two Estates Managers (Operations) with a mechanical engineering background. Based at LGI, you will lead an in-house estates maintenance team and coordinate specialists to keep the site’s mechanical and electrical systems compliant and well-maintained.

• Mechanical engineering background required
• Good IT and computer skills
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical infrastructure

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and manage in-house estates maintenance team and coordinate specialist contractors
• Ensure compliant, value-for-money service contracts for maintenance; standardise contracts with other sites
• Act as Authorised Person for Medical Gas Systems and potentially HV/LV training; manage Authorised Person duties for lifts, ventilation, boilers and pressure systems
• Work outside normal hours and participate in on-call shifts; resolve problems using initiative
• Manage estates team and contractors using the RESET certification and verify contractor competence
