Job summary

Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust seeks an Estates Engineering Manager to provide technical leadership for critical engineering systems, ensuring safety, compliance and reliability across the estate. You will oversee specialist maintenance and planned preventative programmes, contribute to capital projects, and support on-call rotas and clinical staff with complex infrastructure guidance.

Job description

This Estates Engineering Manager post sits in the Estates team at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust and reports to the Head of Estates. It centres on technical leadership of the Trust's engineering systems, keeping critical plant safe, compliant and fit for purpose. The role also oversees specialist maintenance contracts and planned preventative maintenance, and joins the Estates on-call rota. Authorised Person status is central to the role, which includes advising clinical colleagues on complex infrastructure.
