Job summary

Forestry England in the North East is seeking an Estates Work Supervisor to help manage and improve the built estate, supervise contracts, ensure statutory compliance, and deliver efficient estate services. You will plan and supervise contracts for maintenance, repairs, and improvements, and work with the district building surveyor and estate department to uphold policy and processes.

The role is based in Bellingham, Hexham, Northumberland with travel around the district, offering pension

Responsibilities

• Help change the look and feel of our built estate by assisting the district building surveyor and estate’s department in delivering professional management of buildings, utilities and general estate services by the most efficient means possible.
• You will plan, specify and supervise a range of contracts to maintain, repair and improve the built estate and ensure statutory compliance.
• The EWS will implement and monitor programmes of work to a high standard ensuring compliance with legislation and Forestry England processes, policy and guidance.
