Job summary

Westonbirt Arboretum – Forestry England is seeking an Estates Work Supervisor to help manage the built estate, supervise contracts and ensure compliance. The role is based in the North East with travel to Bellingham/Hexham and surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will plan and supervise a range of estate contracts, ensuring high standards and adherence to Forestry England processes, policies and guidance. A Civil Service pension and development opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing building maintenance contracts and estate services.
• Knowledge of statutory compliance for estate works.
• Ability to plan and supervise contracts and programmes of work.

Responsibilities

• Plan, specify and supervise contracts to maintain, repair and improve the built estate.
• Monitor programmes of work to ensure high standards and compliance with policies and legislation.
