Job summary

Greensleeves Care is seeking an experienced Estate Supervisor to oversee the Glebelands Carehome in Wokingham. You will manage buildings, grounds and maintenance operations, ensuring safety, compliance and a high standard of environments for residents.

You will lead maintenance teams, coordinate contractors, monitor budgets, and drive improvement across multiple sites within the estate. A relevant H&S qualification and a driving licence are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Significant recent experience in a similar role or maintenance operations.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver maintenance programmes.
• Extensive experience managing Health & Safety.
• Experience managing in-house staff and external contractors.
• Health & Safety qualification plus a trade or similar qualification.
• COSHH training and Site Management Safety Training.
• Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of quality and environmental management.
• Driving licence and ability to drive company vehicles including a minibus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee property maintenance and ensure planned preventative maintenance programmes are delivered.
• Collaborate with Home Manager and Safety Manager to maintain compliance and promote safety.
• Maintain fire safety systems, testing and procedures across buildings.
• Source and manage external contractors and ensure high-quality work.
• Conduct regular site inspections and keep the estate well maintained.
• Respond to property-related enquiries and plan maintenance around residents' needs.
• Assist with property budgets, expenditure monitoring and contracts.
• Support day-to-day management and upkeep of Glebelands House and surrounding estate.
