Job summary

Ardan Recruitment is seeking a Building Manager for a multi-let business park in Gosport. You will take day-to-day operational ownership of the estate, ensuring safety, sustainability, and service standards across office and industrial units.

You will manage budgets, co-ordinate maintenance, and support refurbishment projects while building strong relationships with occupiers and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a commercial property, business park or portfolio.
• Strong technical knowledge of premises management.
• Good working knowledge of health and safety legislation and environmental requirements.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to use own initiative and stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day operational responsibility for the estate.
• Prepare, control and monitor the service charge budget and reports.
• Lead on health and safety compliance: audits, risk assessments and permits to work.
• Oversee maintenance programmes and manage contractors and security.
• Build relationships with occupiers and attend tenant meetings.
• Support refurbishment and capital projects with the property team.
• Maintain site records such as asset register and plant testing.
