Job summary

Sanctuary Maintenance Contractors Limited is seeking an Estate Technician in Banbury to support a portfolio of sites across the area. The role focuses on grounds maintenance, cleaning, and general handyperson duties to keep sites safe, clean and well-presented.

The successful candidate will be hands-on, able to work independently or as part of a team, and will hold relevant certifications or be willing to work towards them. A UK driving licence is required as travel between sites is involved.

Qualifications

• Practical and hands-on experience in maintenance, cleaning or similar roles.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
• Willingness to work across multiple sites and lone working.
• Willingness to work towards required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine grounds maintenance and upkeep of outdoor spaces.
• Deliver cleaning services across multiple sites to high standards.
• Undertake general maintenance and handyperson duties, including minor repairs.
• Ensure work is completed safely and in line with company standards.
• Monitor site conditions and report issues promptly.
• Provide accurate daily work records and clear customer communications.
• Respond to complaints and service disruptions per contract specifications.
• Maintain tools, equipment and stock levels in good condition.
