Job summary

Sanctuary Group is seeking an Estate Technician for the West Bromwich voids team in the West Midlands. The role is 40 hours per week, 7:30am–16:00pm, with responsibilities for clearing and cleaning void properties and preparing homes for the next occupants.

Based in West Bromwich, you will operate with another team member, manage waste disposal via our app, and develop skills within the team. A strong focus on health and safety, time management, and driving duties is essential.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Previous experience in a domestic / cleaning environment.
• This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Clearing and cleaning void properties
• Removal of bulk waste
• Grass cutting, litter picking and garden salvage
• Carrying out compliance checks
• Completing daily work records and maintaining stock levels
• Ensuring tools and equipment are kept in a useable condition
• Providing accurate information and updates on the progress of allocated work

Estate Technician

West Bromwich – Covering the West Midlands

£26,503 - £27,898 per year

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 16:00pm

We are looking for an Estate Technician to join our voids team, based in West Bromwich. The role will involve working in a team of two sharing the driving and the workload. This role involves clearing and cleaning void properties after tenants move out, including the removal and disposal of any items left behind. Using our waste removal app, you will ensure waste is disposed of correctly at designated disposal sites, helping prepare properties for their next occupants.
