Job summary

Catch 22 in Kendal is seeking an Estates Manager to oversee a mixed-use property in the Lake District. You will manage facilities delivery, budgets, health and safety, and coordinate with tenants and contractors to ensure compliant operations.

The role requires at least 3 years in facilities management (including residential), experience with service charge budgets, and NEBOSH/IOSH qualification. Salary circa £40,000–£45,000 per year, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in facilities management, including residential.
• Experience in managing service charge budgets.
• H&S qualification (NEBOSH/IOSH).

Responsibilities

• Overall Responsibility for the Facilities Management Delivery onsite
• Ensure compliance at all times with operational standards
• Liaise with Clients, tenants and leaseholders to ensure compliance
• Prepare service charge budgets
• In conjunction with the Regional Facilities Manager provide efficient, effective and economic building and estate related facilities management services to all managed areas including Common Areas
• Supervise service contracts and maintaining up-to-date records of all work carried out by contractors
• Be responsible for the management of health & safety files, operational and maintenance manuals and all information, specifications and drawings pertinent to the site, inclusive of updating and archiving
• Oversee the management and use of CCTV systems in accordance with data protection legislation, linking with Council ASB Enforcement and the Police
• Manage the site's waste management plan
• Ensure that Health and Safety policy is complied with at all times
