Job summary

Catch 22 in Kendal, The Lake District, seeks an Estates Manager to oversee a mixed-use property and lead on facilities management across onsite operations. You will manage site staff, recruit/train, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for customers while adhering to health and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in facilities management (residential desirable), experience with service charge budgets, and H&S qualifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in facilities management (residential desirable).
• H&S qualified (NEBOSH/IOSH) is required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the facilities management delivery onsite.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Liaise with clients, tenants and leaseholders to ensure compliance.
• Prepare service charge budgets.
• Provide efficient, effective and economical facilities management services across all sites (including common areas).
• Supervise service contracts and maintain up-to-date records of contractor works.
• Manage health & safety files, manuals and drawings; update/archive as needed.
• Oversee CCTV management in line with data protection laws; liaise with local authorities as required.
• Manage waste management plans.
• Ensure Health and Safety policy compliance at all times.
