Job summary

LiveWest is seeking an Estate Supervisor in the Exeter area to manage and maintain communal estates. You will lead cleaning, grounds maintenance and caretaking tasks to ensure safe, clean and welcoming environments for residents.

You'll work as part of the Estate Services team, carrying out a mix of practical tasks on site, reporting issues promptly and supporting residents with a proactive, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Ability to carry out cleaning, grounds maintenance and caretaking duties to a high standard.
• Must have previous Grounds Maintence experience
• Confident with simple IT such as MS Office, and willing to learn and use repairs reporting systems and other necessary IT packages
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to make decisions confidently in order to resolve issues and deliver excellent customer service.
• Applies a practical approach to problem solving taking practical steps where required in order to achieve successful outcomes for estate and customers.
• Ability to handle difficult situations calmly, professionally at all times taking proactive approach to avoiding confrontation
• Demonstrable practical skills either in a work or home environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the communal areas of estates are clean, tidy and well maintained in line with agreed service standards.
• Clean communal areas including stairwells, communal walkways, laundry areas and communal rooms.
• Ensure that communal garden areas are kept tidy and well maintained using appropriate hand tools and powered equipment.
• Ensure that bin areas are clean, regularly disinfected and tidy.
• Undertake minor maintenance works within communal areas that do not require specialist training.
• Ensure that required repair or maintenance works to common areas requiring specialist knowledge and skills are promptly reported to the appropriate teams.
