Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Focus wholly on the selling process from day one.
  • Use the telephone as a primary selling tool, sourcing business and cross‑sales opportunities.
  • Set up and attend viewings, and close deals on property sales.
  • Build and maintain an in‑depth knowledge of your applicant base, matching buyers with sellers and identifying ‘virtual’ sellers.
  • Work on a high‑volume operation requiring strong sales skills.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Existing Estate Agent experience preferred.
  • Or a trainee looking to enter the Estate Agency industry with a strong sales background (e.g., car sales, mobile telephone sales, membership sales).
  • Must own and drive a suitable vehicle.
  • Strong telephone and deal‑making skills.
Compensation & Benefits

Initial 6‑month guaranteed salary: £28,000 – £30,000 (pro‑rata, dependent on the individual).

After the guarantee: Basic salary up to £18,000 plus realistic on‑target earnings of £35,000 – £40,000 in year 1, rising in year 2.

Commission Structure: 5% personal sales commission + 2.5% personal commission for booking the PMA (Property Market Appraisal). Total potential commission on a sold property is 7.5%.

Additional perks include 40p per mile petrol allowance for business miles.
