Job summary

Our client is a highly recognised, industry leading fire and security business with rapid growth. Halifax/Bradford coverage is required for the Fire and Security Engineer role.

The role involves servicing, maintenance and small works on sites within your area, handling fire and security systems and emergency lighting, with a focus on first-fix solutions and adherence to British Standards. You will represent the company professionally and maintain its reputation.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of the British Standards.
• Knowledge of FIA units 1 + 5.
• Experience in Fire Systems, Intruder, CCTV and Access Control.
• Knowledge of GENT and/or Notifier (desirable but not essential as training can be given).
• Outgoing and proactive personality to manage own work and reflect the company’s values.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and small works on sites within your post code area.
• Work with a range of fire and security systems and emergency lights.
• Fault finding to achieve a first-fix where possible.
• Work to British Standards at all times.
• Be customer-facing to maintain a positive reputation for our client.

• To work with a varied amount of both fire and security systems and emergency lights
• Fault finding to conduct a 1st fix solution where possible
• To work to the British Standards at all times
• You will be customer facing to maintaining a good reputation on behalf of our client is amust.
