Job summary

City of Glasgow College invites applications for a Lecturer in ESOL on a fixed-term basis until June 2027. The role is full-time (35 hours per week) with a salary from £43,402 up to £52,247 per annum pro rata (TQFE holders start at £50,036).

You will plan, deliver and assess ESOL across a range of levels, working with Curriculum Heads and fellow staff. Eligible candidates will hold an ESOL teaching qualification and have experience delivering accredited ESOL to displaced learners; PVG check

The College is seeking to recruit suitably qualified Lecturer in ESOL.

The postholders will plan, deliver, and assess ESOL across a range of levels. They will work closely with the Curriculum Heads for ESOL, and other faculty colleagues.

Applicants should hold an appropriate ESOL teaching qualification and have experience of delivering accredited ESOL programmes to displaced people, across a variety of levels.

Successful applicants will be subject to a PVG Disclosure Check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
