S&P Dow Jones Indices is seeking an ESG Data Owner to manage and govern ESG datasets across equity and fixed income indices. You’ll oversee data quality, onboarding of new datasets, and collaboration with operations, technology, and vendor teams to ensure accurate, well-documented data.

You will define data requirements, implement quality checks, and maintain lineage for ESG data like GHG emissions, physical risk, and ESG scores, supporting index operations and analytics.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of ESG frameworks and sustainability data and their application in financial indices.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to work with large data sets.
• Experience with data governance, data lineage concepts, or master data management is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Manage ESG datasets across the data lifecycle from ingestion to delivery for index use.
• Define data requirements for new ESG data feeds including field definitions and validation rules.
• Monitor data quality, investigate issues, and coordinate with technology, operations, and vendor teams.
• Maintain documentation of data sources, business rules, validation checks, and data lineage.
• Coordinate with ESG data vendors to clarify definitions, delivery standards and changes.
