Job summary

Otis Elevator Co. is seeking an experienced escalator call-out and repair engineer to join our Transport for London team, covering the London Underground escalator portfolio. Your priority is passenger safety and maintaining a portfolio of escalator units.

You will work on a 4 on 4 off 12-hour nights (7PM – 7AM), with a competitive basic salary and overtime opportunities. The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering and a valid UK driving licence, along with strong mechanical and

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering is required.
Significant experience in service and maintenance of escalators.
Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
Flexibility required; overtime may be necessary.
Good mechanical and electrical engineering skills.
Strong communication with customers and stakeholders.
Able to work independently or within a team.
Comfortable using electronic and digital tools.

Responsibilities

Carry out breakdown and repair work on escalators within the portfolio to keep them operating.
Work within the London Underground network managing the escalator portfolio.
Respond quickly to fix breakdowns with a focus on first-time fixes.
Liaise directly with customers on site to maintain strong working relationships.
