Job summary

Identify Talent is seeking an ERP Operational Support Specialist to maintain data, reporting and ERP systems in a hands-on role. You will manage data reliability, support reporting outputs, and ensure smooth operation of core systems for site users.

The role focuses on SQL development, Crystal Reports support, and ERP administration to keep systems accurate and accessible for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL databases and writing queries.
• Experience with Crystal Reports.
• ERP or operational system experience; Epicor BisTrack desirable but not essential.

ERP Operational Support Specialist (Data & Reporting)

Location: Barton-Upon-Humber

Salary: £45,000–£55,000

Type: Permanent

An industry‑leading UK business is looking to appoint an ERP Operational Support Specialist to support the reliability, accuracy and day‑to‑day usability of their core data, reporting and ERP systems.

This is a hands‑on operational role where you’ll play a key part in keeping business‑critical systems running smoothly, supporting users across the site and ensuring reporting outputs remain stable and accurate.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting existing reporting, data and ERP functions. This includes working with SQL, supporting Crystal Reports and administering the ERP system (including user setup, permissions and printers). You’ll develop a strong understanding of how the systems work, investigate issues as they arise and help drive small improvements that enhance reliability and usability.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and support reporting and data extraction systems

Skills & Experience

• Strong SQL database, query and stored procedure skills
• Proven experience with Crystal Reports

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability
• Ability to reverse‑engineer issues and understand system behaviour
• Willingness to learn and develop deeper system knowledge
