Job summary

The Westwood Academy is seeking an ERP Lead Teacher to lead our Enhanced Resource Provision for students with Moderate Learning Difficulties. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure high-quality teaching, and provide pastoral support to enable every pupil to thrive academically and personally.

You will plan personalised learning aligned to EHCP outcomes, supervise support staff, chair Annual Reviews, and work with families, carers and external agencies to monitor progress and promote

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS with proven experience in SEND and MLD provision.
• Ability to assess, track and report pupil progress against EHCP outcomes.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills to lead staff and work with external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the MLD ERP provision.
• Plan and oversee high-quality teaching and learning for pupils with additional needs.
• Develop personalised learning programmes aligned to EHCP outcomes.
• Chair Annual Reviews and liaise with Local Authority on EHCPs and placements.
• Monitor pupil progress and report to parents and external agencies.
• Promote inclusive, nurturing environment and well-being.
