Job summary

Evolve Recruitment is seeking an ER Specialist to support our client's busy Head Office team in Kingston upon Thames and surrounding areas. The role offers hybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 days WFH) with a salary in the range 52,800–70,400 GBP.

You’ll manage grievances, conduct investigations, advise managers, draft outcome letters and ensure compliance with employment law. The role requires experience in ER, strong communication, and the ability to handle sensitive cases with discretion.

Qualifications

• Legal qualification or CIPD Level 7 desirable.
• Solid understanding of grievance procedures and ACAS code of practice.
• Significant Employee Relations experience advising middle management and up-to-date labour law knowledge.
• Experience leading grievance investigations and delivering outcomes.
• Highly developed skill in handling complex, sensitive and confidential matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage formal and informal grievance cases.
• Conduct fact-finding and investigation meetings.
• Provide advisory guidance and coaching to the supporting team.
• Draft outcome letters and maintain accurate case documentation.
• Provide practical ER guidance to managers and feedback on case learnings.
• Carry out disciplinary processes where required.
• Ensure full compliance with employment legislation.
• Keep up to date with developments in employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive and professional workplace culture.
