Job summary

An excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional with a strong focus on employee relations, who is confident managing investigations, handling sensitive cases and providing hands-on support to managers and employees.

This is a varied, business-facing role for someone who enjoys being close to the action, building relationships across the business and providing a visible HR presence at different sites. You'll take ownership of employee relations matters, support managers through challenging situations and ensure cases are handled fairly, consistently and in line with employment legislation and company policies.

Alongside your core ER responsibilities, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to wider HR activities, projects and process improvements across the UK, with occasional involvement in European HR initiatives.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000, depending on experience

• Proven experience in a hands‑on HR role with a strong emphasis on employee relations and case management
• Experience conducting investigations and managing disciplinary, grievance and performance-related matters
• Confidence advising managers, challenging them where necessary and guiding them through difficult people decisions
• Comfortable travelling to UK sites to provide a visible and accessible HR presence
• Good knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
• Excellent communication, investigation and problem‑solving skills
• A proactive, pragmatic approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and see cases through to resolution
• Strong judgement, discretion and the ability to handle confidential information sensitively
