Express Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Employee Relations professional to join a collaborative People Team. You will manage a varied ER caseload, coach managers, and navigate UK employment law to deliver fair, consistent outcomes.
Hybrid working is offered (three days remote, two days in the office) with opportunities to deputise for the team lead and develop your ER expertise within a large, multi-site business based in the UK.
Are you someone who genuinely loves Employee Relations, enjoys getting stuck into complex people matters and has a passion for helping managers navigate workplace challenges? If you’re an HR professional who thrives on the detail, enjoys finding fair and practical solutions, and wants to become a true ER specialist, this could be the perfect next step for you!
Due to continued growth, our client is looking to strengthen its People Team with passionate and knowledgeable Employee Relations professionals. Whether you’re an ER enthusiast looking to develop your expertise or a more experienced professional ready to take on additional responsibility, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact across a large, multi-site business.
We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes ER! The successful candidate will hold dedicated Employee Relations experience, a genuine interest in UK employment law and the confidence to manage a varied caseload. You’ll enjoy getting into the detail, asking the right questions and ensuring every case is handled fairly, consistently and with the colleague experience at the heart of every decision.
You’ll be joining a collaborative People Team where knowledge-sharing, continuous improvement and doing the right thing really matter. There’s also an opportunity for a more experienced candidate to provide additional support and deputise for the team lead when required.
In return, you’ll receive a competitive salary of £42,000-£48,000 depending on experience, hybrid working with ideally three days remotely and two days in the office, and the opportunity to develop your ER expertise. A CIPD Level 5 qualification is desirable but not essential, with support available for the right candidate to work towards their qualification.
