Job summary

Knight Temple Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Equity Release Adviser to support a growing client base from a home-based setup in the UK. The role is self-employed with remote, phone and virtual advisory duties to deliver compliant advice.

The ideal candidate holds an Equity Release qualification with a demonstrable 18–24 months track record in advising on Equity Release products, and is comfortable generating own client flow and managing appointments.

Qualifications

• Must hold Equity Release qualification with 18–24 months of advising experience.
• Self-employed and comfortable working from home.
• Experience in phone or virtual advisory.
• Directly authorised candidates considered even if not CAS.

Responsibilities

• Provide equity release advice to clients remotely.
• Schedule and conduct pre-booked appointments.
• Ensure compliance and build trust with clients.

Are you an experienced Equity Release Adviser who is looking to increase both your activity and earnings?

As part of their exciting growth plans for 2027 our client, who are part of a well-respected IFA practice based in Manchester are looking for small number of experienced advisers to join them in January 2027.

They are members of the Equity Release Council and have a 5 star rating on Trust Pilot (as of the 23rd October 2026)

Please note this is a self-employed role

What are they looking for?

Competent and professional people who understand the later life lending market and can build genuine trust and empathy with the clients within this market.

You must hold Equity Release qualification, with a demonstrable track record of advising on Equity Release for a minimum of the last 18 months to 2 years.

As they are directly authorised, they will consider candidates that are not CAS.

Candidates must be comfortable working from home and have experience of phone/virtual advising and working on a self-employed basis.
