Job summary

Provide Community is seeking an experienced service manager to lead the Equipment Technician function in Greater London. You will develop and deliver technical training for Equipment and Driver Technicians, ensure competency, and oversee day-to-day operations.

You will line-manage staff, monitor KPI performance, drive compliance with SOPs, implement continuous improvement, and promote best practices across the service.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering technical training for Equipment Technicians and Driver Technicians.
• Ability to manage a team and monitor performance against KPIs.
• Knowledge of SOPs, quality and compliance requirements.
• Experience driving continuous improvement and sharing best practice.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technical training programmes for Equipment Technicians and Driver Technicians.
• Identify training needs and conduct competency assessments.
• Maintain training records and competency matrices.
• Support induction of new employees and promote consistent operational standards.
• Promote quality and compliance across the service.
• Day-to-day management and operation of the Equipment Technician function.
• Line manage staff and monitor KPI performance.
• Address operational non-compliance and implement SOPs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and share best practice across the service.
