The shift pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
Within the Public Health Directorate, there is an opportunity to recruit a Equalities and Human Rights Manager to the Equalities and Human Rights (EHR) Team. The team develops and implements the ‘A Fairer NHSGGC: Meeting the Requirements of the Equality Act (Equality Scheme)’, focusing on equality outcomes and mainstream functions to meet the general duty under the Equality Act. The team's work includes:
The post holder will provide strategic leadership, lead policy development related to NHSGGC’s equalities duties and legislation, and offer expert advice to support NHS strategies, service redesign, and development, ensuring compliance and addressing the needs of our diverse population. Additionally, the role involves leading aspects of the EHR team development, including performance measures and resource deployment.
