Responsibilities
  • Accountable to the General Manager for managing and controlling the Directorate resources.
  • Achieve business performance objectives within quality standards, including local and national HEAT targets.
  • Contribute to the corporate management of the Division through the Directorate Management Team.
  • Promote a culture of compliance in infection prevention and control, facilitating adherence to policies to meet NHS Lothian's targets for reducing HAI.
  • Provide operational support to the General Manager for the efficient delivery of services.
  • Ensure patient flow is optimized across all services.

This role requires PVG Scheme membership/record. If not currently a member, an application must be made to Disclosure Scotland and approved before employment begins.
