Job summary

County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced EPRR professional to lead and implement robust emergency planning and business continuity measures under the guidance of the Head of EPRR.

You will collaborate with senior managers across the Trust to develop policies, manage projects from initiation to closure, and support delivery of training and exercises to ensure readiness and compliance with the EPRR Core Standards.

Responsibilities

• Act autonomously and proactively to deliver and maintain the Trust's EPRR capabilities.
• Lead projects such as benefit realisation and change management.
• Attend health and multi-agency EPRR groups providing liaison and admin support.
• Provide expert advice to incident management and ensure preparedness for major incidents.
• Participate in risk assessment processes, identifying and recording risks.
• Prepare and maintain the Local Health Resilience Partnership Risk Register.
• Support training and exercises, including development and coordination.
• Build and manage relationships within the supply chain to dovetail plans.
