Job summary

University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust seeks a strategic leader to head Emergency Planning and Operational Resilience. You will drive the EPRR agenda, advise senior leaders, and ensure readiness for major incidents and disruption across the Trust.

This role requires a degree-level qualification with specialist emergency planning credentials and a track record in resilience, business continuity and incident response, working with executives and external partners.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree-level qualification with specialist qualifications in emergency planning, resilience, business continuity, crisis management, disaster management or major incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and assurance of major incident, business continuity, surge capacity and resilience plans.
• Oversee compliance with NHS EPRR Core Standards and statutory obligations.
• Advise Executive Directors and senior leaders on preparedness and risk.
• Lead EPRR training, exercising, policy development and organisational learning.
