County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced EPRR professional to lead and implement robust emergency planning and business continuity measures under the guidance of the Head of EPRR.
You will collaborate with senior managers across the Trust to develop policies, manage projects from initiation to closure, and support delivery of training and exercises to ensure readiness and compliance with the EPRR Core Standards.
This is an exciting opportunity to be support CDDFTs Emergency Preparedness, resilience and response service. You would be providing comprehensive and robust support to the Head of EPRR to act as an implementation lead and by doing so providing assurances to internal and external organisations that County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust (CDDFT) has appropriate emergency planning and business continuity measures in place in line with the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and other relevant legislation, standards and guidance.
You will work with senior managers across the CDDFT to develop robust policies and procedures in respect of emergency planning and business continuity and to take a leadership role by managing projects from initiation to closure and supporting the delivery of appropriate training., The role is critical for the Trust in ensuring delivery of the Trusts EPRR strategy and compliance with the EPRR Core Standards.

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
