Qualifications

• Significant experience leading procurement activities and managing procurement systems.
• Knowledge of Public Procurement Legislation and Standing Financial Instructions.
• Experience planning and coordinating purchasing and systems work plans.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective project and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for the Purchasing and Systems Team within Procurement.
• Oversee electronic procurement systems to support purchasing processes across the organisation.
• Ensure procurement services are delivered efficiently, effectively and in compliance with legislation and policies.
• Lead initiatives to improve procurement performance and maximise value for money.
• Develop and manage a high-performing procurement team.
