Job summary

Experis UK is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to join a large-scale NHS EPR programme. You will design, develop and support healthcare integrations enabling seamless data exchange across complex healthcare environments.

Working with application, architecture and supplier teams, you'll play a critical role in delivering robust interoperability solutions while supporting existing BAU integration services.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and supporting healthcare interfaces and integrations.
• Knowledge of HL7 and FHIR standards.
• Experience with API-based integrations and RESTful services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support healthcare interfaces and integrations.
• Analyse, map, transform and validate clinical and operational data flows.
• Develop and maintain HL7, FHIR and API-based integrations.
• Investigate and resolve interface, messaging and data exchange issues.
• Support EPR implementation activities including development, testing and deployment.
• Work closely with technical and clinical stakeholders to deliver integration solutions.
• Contribute to BAU support, enhancements and issue resolution.
• Produce technical documentation, interface specifications and support procedures.
• Participate in integration testing, troubleshooting and go-live activities.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare interoperability standards and best practice.
• HL7 message mapping and transformation.
• FHIR resource modelling and implementation.
• API development and integration.
• Healthcare interoperability and data exchange.
• Data mapping, transformation and validation.
• Troubleshooting complex integration and interface issues.
