Job summary

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust's Integration Team seeks a Senior Integration Programmer to design, develop, test and support secure data exchanges across clinical and corporate systems.

You will lead integrations using Rhapsody, HL7, FHIR, XML, JSON and REST services, ensuring robust solutions and high service availability; you will mentor peers and contribute to standards. Based at Yardley Court, Edgbaston, Birmingham with flexible working.

Qualifications

• BTEC National or higher, or 3 A levels.
• A relevant IT or science degree, or degree-level experience.
• Strong development and integration skills: JavaScript, C#, TSQL, XML/JSON.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and support integrations across clinical and corporate systems.
• Create integrations using Rhapsody, HL7, FHIR, REST, XML and JSON.
• Lead technical delivery on integration projects ensuring robust, reliable solutions.
• Investigate and resolve issues to maintain high service availability.
• Create and execute test plans, support releases and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders translating requirements into effective solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, peer reviews and mentoring.
• Contribute to standards, processes and documentation for quality.
