Job summary

Experis in London is seeking an experienced Technical Architect to lead and assure end-to-end architecture for a major Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme. The role focuses on delivering scalable, secure, and interoperable solutions across integration, infrastructure, security, testing and data.

You will work with NHS stakeholders, suppliers and delivery teams to challenge technical decisions, identify risks, and shape governance, migration, and long-term digital strategy.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in technical architecture.
• Proven experience delivering or assuring large scale EPR or clinical system programmes.
• Experience working within the NHS or a comparable healthcare environment.
• Strong end-to-end architecture experience spanning integration, infrastructure, security, testing and data.
• Strong knowledge of HL7 and FHIR and healthcare interoperability.
• Experience of complex system integration and interface architecture.
• Experience of architecture governance and delivery assurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the end-to-end technical architecture for the EPR programme.
• Define target architecture across applications, integration, infrastructure, security, data and services.
• Establish architectural principles, standards, patterns and constraints.
• Ensure architecture is scalable, secure, and future-proof.
• Govern architecture decisions and maintain documentation.
