Squires Garden Centre is seeking an Administration - Inventory Controller/Cashier to support the EPOS team and assist the Garden Centre Manager. The role involves stock counting, price checks, and ensuring accurate stock files, with a rota including Thursdays, Fridays and alternating Saturdays.

The successful candidate will have retail experience, strong communication skills, and a collaborative attitude. This on-site role offers a supportive team environment in a family-owned business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of working in a similar role within a retail environment is essential.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Organised, self-disciplined with a positive, collaborative attitude.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cyclical stock counting procedures and investigate variances.
• Ensure stock adjustments/transfers are processed accurately and timely.
• Review and action stock-accuracy reports per company policy.
• Process price changes and checks with documentation.
• Communicate Garden Centre information and best practices clearly.
• Adhere to company security procedures to minimise losses.
• Maintain a safe working environment meeting health and safety requirements.
• Contribute to other business-related activities/projects as required.
