Operations Resources is seeking a confident IT Technician / Computer Hardware Engineer to join our EPOS field service team in the West Midlands. You will perform hardware swaps and maintenance on IT and EPOS equipment across multiple client sites, with on-site troubleshooting and remote support as needed.

The role requires a full manual driving license, independent work, and a willingness to participate in on-call rotations.

• Full manual driving license is essential.
• Proven experience in PC hardware, IT support, or related technical roles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to undergo training on EPOS hardware systems.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and participate in emergency call-out rotations.
• Reliable and proactive attitude towards work commitments.

Mansioni

• Perform hardware swaps, repairs, and maintenance on IT and EPOS equipment at retail locations.
• Attend field service calls across multiple sites, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
• Diagnose hardware issues and provide effective solutions on-site or remotely.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new EPOS systems and peripherals.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts used, and issues resolved.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all field operations.
• Participate in on-call rotations, providing emergency support outside of standard working hours.
• Continuously update technical knowledge through training sessions and self-learning initiatives.
