Job summary

NVQ Assessor in the United Kingdom is seeking a Personal Trainer EPA assessor to conduct apprenticeship assessments. You will agree on schedules, complete planned assessments in the learner’s workplace, and carry out assessment activity both face-to-face and remotely.

You should understand IQA processes, be able to review learner evidence, and work autonomously within an operating framework. While qualifications such as A1/2, D32/33, CAVA or AET are recommended, they are not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Experience with EPA assessments.
• Ability to discuss and review learner evidence.
• Autonomous worker within an operating framework.
• Awareness of learner difficulties and social needs.

Responsibilities

• Agree on a schedule and complete planned assessments in the learner’s workplace.
• Carry out assessment activity (face-to-face & remote).
• Make decisions against a recognised assessment plan.
• Grade assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Confirm grades and pass/fail judgments on evidence.
