Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Environmental Coordinator to lead delivery of EIA related work within multi-disciplinary teams. You will collaborate with clients and engineers to ensure environmental standards are met and projects stay on schedule.

The role requires a degree in environmental science, chartered status preferred, and strong report writing and stakeholder communication skills. Hybrid working and career development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master’s in environmental/related discipline required.
• Chartered status and experience on linear infrastructure projects beneficial.
• Strong report writing, presentation and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination and delivery of environmental work by multi‑disciplinary teams (EIA, options appraisals, environmental management).
• Champion environmental performance within projects to deliver optimal outcomes.
• Collate and edit information from diverse sources to produce clear reports.
• Deliver own work to high standards and review others' work on time and within budget.
• Manage clients' needs confidently and professionally.
• Support bid preparation and develop new business areas for the team.
• Pursue Continual Professional Development per institute requirements.
