Job summary

Redditch Borough and Bromsgrove District Councils are seeking an ESO1 Operative to join the Place Teams in Redditch. The role covers street cleansing, landscape work including hedge cutting and mowing, with a requirement for a full UK manual driving licence and the ability to work on one’s own initiative.

Hours are 37 per week with flexible 4-5 day patterns. Salary ESO 1 (Grade 3): £25,583–£27,254, with benefits including LGPS and leave entitlements. Further information from Alan Williams.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK manual driving licence.
• Physically fit and able to work on own initiative.
• Experience in street cleansing or landscape tasks is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out street cleansing and landscape work across Redditch town and district.
• Perform hedge cutting and mowing as part of the Place Teams.
• Work 37 hours per week in flexible 4- or 5-day patterns.
