Job summary

MBDA is seeking an Environmental Project Engineer in Stevenage to develop environmental requirements and support robust product designs across the life cycle. You will collaborate with Systems Engineering, Architecture, Design and Proving teams to deliver environmental test programmes.

Responsibilities include defining proving methodologies, interfacing with customers, and ensuring delivery on time and within cost. A BPSS security check is required for successful candidates.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience.
• Experience planning and delivering small to medium work packages.
• Knowledge of environmental engineering in defence or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Generate environmental requirements and support robust product designs.
• Define and manage cost-effective proving strategies across the lifecycle.
• Coordinate environmental test programmes with the project/engineering teams.
• Act as technical interface with customers for planning and delivery of work packages.
• Monitor delivery timescales and costs while ensuring quality outputs.
