Job summary

Intertek Group is seeking a Modelling Consultant to solve environmental challenges in rivers, lakes, estuaries and marine waters using predictive models and data tools. You will build scientific arguments and liaise with clients, regulators and stakeholders while managing work packages or projects.

The role emphasises developing practical, leading-edge solutions and strong report writing abilities within a collaborative, global team environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s Degree in relevant technical subject.
• Experience with at least one modelling package such as DELFT3D or MIKE; others like InfoWorks ICM are valued.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including report writing.
• Familiarity with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems and compliance for offshore projects.

Responsibilities

• Solve environmental challenges in rivers, lakes, estuaries and marine waters using predictive models and data tools.
• Build scientific argument to address real-world environmental challenges.
• Liaise with clients, regulators and stakeholders.
