Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking talented hydraulic modellers, engineers and environmental scientists to join our Water Quality and Coastal Modelling teams in Belfast. We work on projects involving water quality assessment, hydrodynamic and coastal modelling, environmental impact assessment, marine consenting and offshore renewable energy.

You will support numerical modelling, data analysis and reporting, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant subject (coastal science, oceanography, coastal or maritime engineering, engineering, geography or environmental science).
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills; report-writing ability.

Responsibilities

• Support numerical modelling, environmental assessment and water management projects.
• Analyse hydrological, met-ocean, spatial and environmental data and present findings in reports and dashboards.
• Contribute to Environmental Statement chapters and marine consenting documents.
• Collaborate with engineers, scientists, planners and clients to deliver practical solutions.
