Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Modelling Consultant to tackle environmental challenges in rivers, lakes, estuaries and marine waters using predictive models and advanced data tools. You will build scientific arguments to address real-world issues and liaise with clients, regulators and stakeholders to shape project delivery.

The role requires a degree in a technical subject and experience with modelling packages such as DELFT3D, MIKE, or InfoWorks ICM, plus strong report writing and adherence to HSE/QMS

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s Degree in relevant technical subject
• Experience with modelling packages (DELFT3D or MIKE) and other tools like InfoWorks ICM
• Excellent verbal and written communication including report writing
• Familiarity with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems for offshore projects

Responsibilities

• Solving environmental challenges in rivers, lakes, estuaries and marine waters, using predictive models, advanced data analysis and management tools.
• Building scientific argument to address complex real‑world challenges.
• Liaising directly with clients, regulators and stakeholders
• Managing packages or projects.
• Writing/contributing to/reviewing Technical Reports
• Developing practical and quantified leading-edge solutions.
