Job summary

Tetra Tech in Belfast is seeking a Water Quality and Coastal Modelling Consultant to join our growing team. You will contribute to water quality assessments, hydrodynamic and coastal modelling, and environmental impact work across a range of projects, including marine consenting and offshore energy developments.

You will collect and analyse hydrological and met-ocean data, support technical reports and client presentations, and collaborate with engineers, planners and GIS specialists.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant subject (coastal science, oceanography, coastal or maritime engineering, engineering, geography, environmental science).
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication, good report-writing ability.
• Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of numerical modelling, environmental assessment and water management projects.
• Collect, analyse and interpret hydrological, met-ocean, spatial and environmental data.
• Contribute to client reports, Environmental Statement chapters and marine consenting documents.
• Lead defined work packages or support delivery under guidance of senior staff.
