Environmental Manager

Aureos is seeking an Environmental Manager to lead the implementation of the Infrastructure Sustainability Strategy, including associated procedures, communications, and reporting.

The Environmental Manager will provide expert guidance and support to project teams, managing a team responsible for all aspects of environmental and social sustainability.

We are open to applicants interested in working on a full-time or part-time basis.

Primary Duties

1. Responsible for implementing the sustainability strategy, including:
2. Improving sustainability culture aligned with the wider business culture
3. Implementing effective monitoring and KPIs to track progress in a comprehensible manner for business leaders
4. Enhancing knowledge through a dedicated program in line with a responsibility matrix, ensuring its relevance and engagement
5. Ensuring policies and procedures are fit for purpose, providing specialist advice to the Compliance team
6. Collaborating with relevant stakeholders, e.g., HR, Engineering, to ensure the success of the sustainability strategy
7. Managing the team, ensuring adequate coverage across projects, and providing mentoring and development to ensure a competent advice provision
