Environmental Manager
Location: Carlisle
Salary: £55,000 - £67,000 plus car / car allowance and package negotiable depending on experience and expertise.
Summary
An opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Manager to work on a £250 million substation project based in Carlisle. The project is a joint venture with two of the UK's leading civil engineering and energy companies, supporting the replacement of major infrastructure to increase capacity. Works include earthworks, roads, drainage, concrete structures, and piling, followed by fit-out works.
The role is site-based with one day a week working from home. Full accommodation and subsistence will be provided on-site if daily travel is not feasible. Reporting to the Project Director, the Environmental Manager will lead the implementation and management of environmental practices, fostering a culture of best practices and high standards across civils work on the substation.
