Clancy seeks an Environment Manager to lead environmental delivery across two major projects (Andover Link Main and Havant Thicket). You will coordinate permits, compliance and environmental controls, reporting to the Head of Environment and working with project teams to ensure sustainable delivery.

The role requires extensive environmental experience, knowledge of legislation, and a track record in construction/environmental management.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in environmental sector, ideally construction/utilities/infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and compliance.
• Experience in waste management and permits/licences.
• Experience with ecology, archaeology, water environment.
• Proven ability to write and manage consents and permits.
• Experience implementing ISO14001 EMS.
• Ability to influence operations and challenge environmental risks.
• Strong stakeholder management with regulators and landowners.
• Degree or equivalent in environmental discipline.
• Professional body membership (ISEP/CIWEM/IES/CIWM) advantageous.
• Valid UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day environmental delivery across two projects.
• Manage environmental permits, licences, consents and approvals.
• Produce and maintain Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs).
• Identify environmental risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Coordinate ecological, environmental and archaeological requirements during construction.
• Conduct audits, inspections, investigations and compliance reporting.
• Support sustainability objectives and improve environmental performance.
• Build relationships with clients, regulators, landowners and stakeholders.
• Provide guidance to Environmental Advisors and Ecological Clerks of Works.
