Major Infrastructure Contractor is seeking an Environmental Manager on a contract basis in Scotland. The role focuses on driving environmental and sustainability performance across a large-scale energy project, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement throughout delivery.

You will lead best practice, manage incidents, collate data, and develop campaigns to support business objectives, working closely with operational teams to meet regulatory requirements.

Formación

• Chartered IEMA status is required.
• Experience mitigating environmental risk on major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and lead environmental and sustainability best practice across the project.
• Ensure personnel understand statutory duties and responsibilities.
• Collaborate with site management to ensure environmental compliance.
• Oversee environmental incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Review environmental data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement environmental campaigns and improvement plans.
• Prepare and review environmental documentation, including third-party submissions.
• Produce plans and procedures ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manage environmental permits, consents, and exemptions.
