Job summary

Cadent is seeking an Environmental Specialist to drive environmental excellence across major infrastructure projects within Capital Delivery. You will provide expert advice, influence behaviours and help deliver safe, sustainable outcomes while ensuring compliance with environmental legislation.

The role requires collaboration with project teams and supply chain partners; a recognised environmental qualification and UK driving licence are essential, plus ISO 14001 experience.

Qualifications

• Recognised environmental qualification (e.g. IEMA, ISEP, NEBOSH Environmental Management or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience delivering environmental management support within utilities, infrastructure, construction or regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert environmental advice to Capital Delivery projects and supply chain partners.
• Identify and manage environmental risks, ensure compliance with legislation and standards.
• Develop KPIs and drive continuous environmental improvement across projects.
