United Infrastructure Ltd is seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor to provide leadership and environmental support to project teams delivering Water works in the South of England.

You will report to the Environment Manager within the Water Pillar, interfacing with clients and cross-discipline teams to ensure environmental obligations are met and best practices embedded across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental management or related discipline.
• Chartered or working towards accreditation (ISEP (IEMA), CIWM, CENV or equivalent).
• Experience in environmental roles within infrastructure or construction.
• In-depth knowledge of UK environmental legislation and standards.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Full driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day environmental assurance across active construction sites.
• Ensure that the project meets all environmental obligations, permits, and reporting requirements.
• Work with project teams to identify the scope of environmental deliverables and integrate into the project schedule.
• Provide specialist advice on regulatory compliance and environmental matters.
• Support compliance with the environmental management system and legal requirements.
• Attend site meetings, audits, and inspections with contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Review waste management plans, transfer documentation, and permitting submissions.
• Support development and roll out of practical environmental management systems and monitoring processes.
