Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Investigate and resolve statutory nuisance complaints related to noise, smoke, dust, light, and odour.
  2. Address anti-social behaviour (ASB) issues, working closely with the ASB team and other stakeholders.
  3. Act as a Licensing Responsible Authority, reviewing and providing feedback on licensing applications.
  4. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with environmental health regulations.
  5. Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records of investigations and actions taken.
  6. Collaborate with other departments and external agencies to address public health and safety concerns.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Environmental Health or a related field.
  • Registered with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) or equivalent.
  • Experience in handling statutory nuisance complaints and ASB cases.
  • Knowledge of licensing laws and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
